Requesting a new PC or Laptop

Purpose

Follow the steps below to acquire a PC or laptop . 

Steps:

1)  Open a ticket, including the following: 

• CC your manager for approval

Lenovo Specs

• Operating System: Windows 10 Professional 64-bit English
• Memory: 16GB RAM
• Hard Drive:512GB Solid State Hard Drive 
• Ports:
• 2 USB
• 1 digital video out
• 1 audio mini jack
• 1 (or more) USB-C port is strongly recommended
• Processor: Intel i7 6th generation
• External display ports: recommend minimum 1 external port with dongle solution to daisy chain 2 displays. Docking stations dramatically increase cost and complexity to support.

2)    IT will order the PC/Laptop

3)    Once the PC arrives, IT will get the PC in compliance and setup then sync up with you to get you your new PC!
